[...] IRS privatizes collections, and failed. Note that in order to turn collections over to private companies, it would cost the IRS MORE to collect LESS under a contract with private companies. In other words, for delusional folks like Duncan, keeping collections in-house was cheaper and more efficient. The program was a failure before it started, as private collection companies could never have collected back taxes as cheaply as the government. [...]

I was in the camp against government health care, however as the premiums continue to rise another $75.00 extra per month beginning June 1st 09 for us. They have increased the premium on average 100 dollars per month over the past 3 years which is ridiculous when it is worthless insurance to begin with; the insurance covers 80% with a 1000.00 dollar deductible for both my wife and myself so I would have to pay $2000.00 each year before any anything would be covered. They are actually pricing us out of the system, and then what will we do. If we have to use the insurance the remaining 20% of all cost they do not cover would probably wipe out most people. I am not alone every premium increase brings more people into the uninsured line. I will support a universal system and work to get it passed.
