Connecticut Attorney General Richard Blumenthal said Wednesday the state is suing Countrywide Financial Corp., alleging it misled borrowers into taking on risky home loans they could not afford.
About damn time! Bank of America stockholders suckers should have held their noses instead of voting to take over Countrywide — and, I suspect BoA customers aren’t going to be too happy when fees go up as a result of continued potential lawsuits against Countrywide, I just can’t see how these entities will be kept seperate as litigation mounts.
