It’s been a very long time since I walked around blogtopia™(skippy), so here goes. This week has seen some pretty outrageous news that I have not had time to address.
Now, far be it for me to tell you how you should have sex, really, that would be more information than I want to know, and who the hell cares. But, as Matt from Think Progress writes, Jonah Goldberg is having a problem distinguishing which political group is actually dictating sexual positions.
The continued demonization of Hillary Clinton in the media, particularly from Chris Matthews aka Tweety, has gone beyond civilized discourse, and even sinks below the worms that crawled around a Clinton town hall meeting chanting, “Iron my shirt.”. But, let’s not limit the misogynist attitudes to the Neanderthals in the news room and society. MoDo is also of that vile misogynist segment of society. Meanwhile, for some good news, Jill has started another blog to fight the good fight against Tweety.
Bush is famous for his ignorant utterances, and yesterday after visiting Yad Vashem yielded a doozy. But, his mind is so porous that he doesn’t realize he’s responsible for gassing his own people, as Jill points out.
Then, we have the outrage of almost going to war over the famous Filipino Monkey.
While I still on the topic of war, another surge is in the works, this time Bush wants to send an additional 3,000+ troops to Afghanistan. Do these surges work? It really hasn’t in Iraq.
Apparently, some folks are being given their civil liberties from the FBI, unintentionally. Note to FBI, you gotta pay your bills in this world — just like everyone else.
What other outrages have you noticed?

In the absence of Star Wars type Clone Troopers, where exactly does Mr. Bush think he’s going to get another 3,000 people to send much of anyplace?
I have no idea where these troops will be materialized from, but, I figured this little bit of news either was passed over as being to unbelievable or it was passed on to the news in a rather hush-hush way, that I was surprised not to see more reaction about it.
